Those are two war crimes. Seems to me that Bush is just as guilty as the ones who bombed Pearl Harbor were.

IMHO yes, but then why not let him stand trial and see what the real experts think?

edit: he may have a defense in saying he was deceived by the neo-con/Zionists over at the Office of Special Plans - and/or that he so stoopid that he's allowing them to fool him again on Iran too.- i mean does that sound like a likely scenario????!!!!.

Yes,that's an easy question.
Under International law a war is always illegal unless it's in direct self defense and Iraq didn't attack the US,wasn't a threat to America or when the UN security council approves.France,China and Russia were against this war making it illegal like Kofi Anan said himself

The link is helpful for confused Americans about the legality of war.

lets put it like this the Nazis they hung at Nuremberg were no MORE guilty.
The Japanese Dougie Mac hung were much LESS guilty.
"Conspiracy to wage aggressive war" was a prime charge at Nuremburg.
Does that sound like something Shrub and Henchmen are guilty of?

Ok to be honest I am not sure Shrub has the brain power to do much more than choose his golf club and mix his single malt (do any of you Bubbas thank he drinks Coors like Y'ALL?)
but that really does not matter in Texas under his regime they executed a guy the pigs had shot in the head, and left with a under Forest Gump IQ.

Because 90% of people are partisan hacks who just cheerlead their side. Republicans supported the wars under Bush and Democrats protested. Now Democrats support the wars under Obama and Rebublicans protest (either that he is going to far or not far enough.)

Maybe I am off base here, but the UN decided to wage this war in Iraq, not the US. (Granted, it was at the urging of the US, but it was still an international action.)

So, given that, Bush cannot be accused of war crimes by an international committee, as it was that committee that sanctioned the war.

War in Iraq was a mistake. However, Hussein did not live up to the treaty following his army being thrown out of Kuwait in "Desert Storm". Bush, the other one, led a coalition of nations via the UN, and once Hussein was defeated, Bush pulled American ground troops out of the area.

"Conservatives" in DC never forgave Bush. So, with the neocons taking power in '00, and Hussein flagrantly ignoring weapons inspections from being carried out throughout the 90's, we invaded, much to our own regret, now.

NO on the "wars of aggression" part.
YES, sadly,...on the War in Iraq.

He's not guilty of anything except: listening to the wrong advice, and of being a zealot in defense of his Dad.

I think he's probably an idiot, but that's no crime, and he is Our President!

If we have to make the comparison... Japan attacked us ie. Pearl harbor. Iraq attacked us ie. Shooting at planes patroling the no fly zone. Just because people died in one attack and not another makes it no less relevant. If you pick a fight with the big kid on the block prepare to be beat. If you are the big kid, prepare for everyone else to look at you has a bully.

I agree, that he should be charged with something.

But unfortunately, there are not enough votes in congress to impeach him. The Neocons will block impeachment.
