Happy Thanksgiving to our Canadian friends. What is your menu for the meal of the day? Similiar to the turkey/stuffing of some US citizens? Although we are such a melting pot turkey is not for everyone any more.

Thanks for asking. Here in Southern Ontario, we are having the hottest Thanksgiving on record. It is so humid you can hardly breathe. I'm having my Thanksgiving dinner next weekend because my daughter couldn't be here until Thursday but better late than never. It's nice driving around today as most people are out of town with family. My grandaughter is at her Dads' today and his family , so I get to play on my computer all day if I want.

Happy Thanksgiving to our Canadian friends. I wonder if
the menu is the same as we have here in the US. Do you
eat turkey with all the trimmings and have family and
friends over? Some of us here in the US are off for Columbus Day and others are not. I believe it's a federal holiday. Stores are open, but no mail. I guess some companies have the day off and others don't. Where I live,
the kids are in school.

I thought of our Canadian friends this morning. Happy Thanksgiving! Hope it's full of friends, food and fun. My husband forgot the post office was closed too, until he got there to mail something. lol Most of the folks I know didn't get the day off.

I was not aware that it was Thanksgiving today in Canada. Happy Thanksgiving! I don't have today off for the Columbus Day holiday, but it will be a short day!

Happy Thanksgiving to our Canadian friends. I do hope all of you are having a marvelous day.

Wonder if Isotope2007 is enjoying Pumpkin Cheesecake today? Doesn't that sound really good right now?

I called in sick today. I forgot it is a holiday. My husband is in the hospital again and my hand is asleep and in pain. I don't feel like going to the sales. I must be sick! Happy Day, Columbus! And a Happy Thanksgiving to all you Canadians!

As far as I can tell, the only people off today are the postal workers in the US. And the local post office forgot to put a sign up explaining that they have the day off. I remembered when I got there, but there were a bunch of confused people waiting around wondering why they couldn't get in.

Thanks, same to you for next month.

Although it is Thanksgiving we are having Turkey Day Wednesday to accomodate some friends coming over who have to work today, not everyone is off, they work for an American company.

I dont see whats so important about a man who took a wrong turn, found a continent (atleast, secondly after the natives) and brought a bunch of syphilis and other desiccating illnesses.

I think that, in the US, only federal employees get Columbus day as a holiday.
