I was driving and my car slowly stalled and now wont start... I am getting fuel to the filter... and the MFR is working... i also replaced the spark plugs and distributor cap... and the wires are new... the engine only has roughly 50,000 miles on the rebuild... it is a honda b18a1 non-vtec dohc 1.8l 5 spd manual.. and the only code the ecu givs is for the TPS (throttle positioning sensor)

I just checked for spark.. and I am getting spark at all 4 plugs.. there is also fuel goin through the filter... but Im not sure if enough is going through.. when i try to start it... every so often it will chug like it wants to start which makes me think its starving for fuel

sounds like the fuel filter is plugged if you are getting fuel to it but none through it

The first thing you should do is hook up a fuel pressure gage to the fuel rail schrader valve and make sure that your getting the manufacturers spec fuel pressure to the injectors. Check you fuel pressure regulator for correct operation and start checking for vacuum leaks as this will also influence whether you pressure regulator is working correctly. If you have fuel pressure you need to start checking spark, possibly your ignition coil. But it sounds like your starving out. Good luck
