The question isn't who wins? It's does this improve my team?
Holt is still the #12 receiver in Yahoo standard scoring and had one of his best weeks yesterday with Bulger out. Bulger should be healed and back in a couple of weeks. James is the number 6 running back in Yahoo standard scoring and Warner was outplaying Leinart. There really isn't much reason to think he'll be shut down for the rest of the year due to Leinart's injury. The key is the Arizona improvement on the line and the coaching with Grimm there. If you need a RB and a WR, these are good ones to pick up. You can affors to give up Romo and Berrian isn't so much of a loss - to many dropped passes.
You can check to see if you might be able to do even better, but it doesn't make much sense to have Romo as a one week play when you have holes at other positions. It's interesting that some people think Tomlinson's season has been a bust when he's the #3 Yahoo fantasy RB right now. You might see if his owner needs a QB and has the same mis-guided attitude.

Based on what you need it seems like a good trade. You might be able to get a better RB for Romo though, since he's red-hot right now. He's the 2nd highest scoring QB in the league I'm in, and he's not far behind Brady. That really should translate to a better RB/WR combo than what you are getting. I'd fish a little to see if you can get a better offer from someone devastated by all the QB injuries right now.

I wouldn't expect much from either James or Holt. Both Arizona and St. Louis are in trouble this year. Leinart broke his collar bone yesterday, so their season is now tied to the success/failure of Kurt Warner. St. Louis has their own QB controversy, who is going to throw the ball to Holt?
I would say the guy who gets Romo wins. Romo is actually putting up better fantasy numbers than Peyton, however who could blame you for starting him. With Harrison hurt, who knows what if any effect that will have on the Indianapolis passing game.
Since Romo is such a stud this year, I would want a Randy Moss or Terrell Owens or LT or Addai or some other elite player.
Another way to look at it is that you can hold on to Romo in case Manning gets hurt / cover for Indy's bye week. And your preventing someone else from getting those points.
There is someone in one of my leagues who has Romo and LT and a bunch of nobody players. That person has been kicking butt, even with LT being a bust so far this year. I figure eventually SD is going to start riding the LT bus again.

I would keep McFadden if I were you. McFadden has tremendous upside, while Maroney will always be held down by the fact that most of New England's offense runs out of the shotgun. The only way I would make this trade is if Brady's leg injury is worse than it is expected to be and he misses significant time. That would make Maroney a legitimate top 15 back. But for now, don't make this trade. Also, you will be downgrading your defense, because Seattle plays in such an easy division. They get 6 games a year against absolutely terrible teams (49ers, Rams, Cardinals). Don't do it!

i would do it, although romo looks to be a VERY solid qb this year in fantasy. and in case you've missed the rams games...bulger isnt looking too hot but holt is a solid wr and james is looking prety tough so far.
ps. holt is one of the top scoring wr for the past 6 season in fantasy so i think he's a safe bet

There's no way anyone in their right mind would give away holt and edge for mr. 5 picks against a crap D and an average receiver with crappy qbs throwing him the ball. The only way you could get that trade is if you somehow CHEATED!

Sounds good, because Berrian is doing a whole lot of nothing. Romo is doing well, but something tells me the second half of the season will be different. I would do it, but see if you can get a bit more =)
