"SAN JOSE, Costa Rica - Costa Ricans on Sunday appeared to narrowly vote in favor of joining the Central American Free Trade Agreement with the U.S., and President Oscar Arias declared victory for the pact. But with results so far contradicting most earlier polls, the opposition balked at conceding before a manual recount. "

Strange how all the recent elections across the globe have been going to the fascists....even though public opinion polls say they should not.

Mr Jello again proved my point about getting terms confused. Jello - just for future reference fascism and socialism/communism are ideologies at OPPOSITE extremes of the political spectrum.
Why do you care what kind of government is elected in Costa Rica? We've always supported dictatorial and fascist regimes over democracy because they either prevented the spread of communism, or they kept some resource flowing cheaply to our shores. We actively took part in bringing down democratic governments in Iran and Syria for cheap oil. We propped up dictators all over Central America to keep Communism out. Why are you surprised? The only thing that shocks me is that now we are fighting to "bring democracy to the Middle East" - the very place that we made sure it didn't take root.

Yep it tells me a couple of things.
1. Anyone you don't like is a fascist.
2. That when a poll is proven wrong the election must be rigged.

Both are the typical liberal/progressive rants.

Fascist is just another name for national socialism.

Think national health care for a good example.

Strange how fascist has come to mean anything you don't agree with.
