It is very healthy to go barefoot.
Going barefoot strengthens the muscles in the feet and legs.
Some footwear can be harmful to overall foot health.
There are no health codes or other regulations that prohibit barefoot customers from being in business establishments, including restaurants.
It is legal to drive barefoot and safer than some footwear.

“Going barefoot is the gentlest way of walking and can symbolize a way of living-being authentic, vulnerable, sensitive to our surroundings. It’s the feeling of enjoying warm sand beneath out toes, or carefully making our way over sharp rocks in the darkness. It’s a way of living that has the lightest impact, removing the barrier between us and nature.”
From the book “Barefoot Dreaming” by Adele Coombs

I love barefooting. I go barefoot everywhere including shoping, dining, hiking, driving, and at work.

Only where appropriate, so not in places of business or education. Business should include most all shops, offices, and generally places where people work. Exception would be given to places where bare feet may be encouraged (ie beach front establishments, gyms, etc).
Other than that, it is the discretion of the individual. But they should keep in mind that proper hygiene is respectful not just to yourself, but those around you. Bare feet on busy streets (ie not around your neighborhood) can lead to cuts/infections, fungus, etc. Then one will be seen as irresponsible should you come into contact with others and even offer a chance of passing something on, just because one "didn't feel like" wearing shoes (or at least sandals).

I, like many men, find women's feet to be attractive and in general well taken care of feet are attractive.

Many people do not care properly for their feet and those feet are rather gross, but cared for feet are nice and I HATE!!!!! shoes, so I think bare feet are fine.

We live in a coastal community and bare feet here are common even in places that traditionally would not allow bare feet elsewhere.

I take care of my feet as does my wife. I am barefoot now.

I personally never go barefoot. In my home, I wear slippers or socks. I don't want dirty feet when I go to bed at night. Outside, I wear shoes or sandals. Nothing ruins a pedicure faster than wear & tear on your toes.

However, many years ago a boyfriend of mine made a comment that made me think.

He said "women that want men to kiss their feet, should, at least, make sure they are clean."

Food for thought... lol

the outdoors of Mars won't be describable; in spite of everything, we've not been to Mars. yet I parent this is the iron rocks convey a coarse, chilly, yet dry panorama, with cliffs, mountains, craters, gullies and basins, the place water as quickly as traveled by using countless billion years in the past.

I go shoe n' sockless whenever I'm at home and wear sandals pretty often. Going barefoot has never grossed me out, mainly because my parents have conditioned me to take off my shoes upon entering a house.

i like to have bare feet or wear shoes that i can easily slip in and out of but bare feet are unacceptable in public.
it's for the beach and home, under your desk, etc.
personally, i hate it when they check you at the airport and make you walk through the line with bare feet. that seems like a really unsanitary practice.
but i do love bare footed babies!

Just bare feet, no shoes? No, I find bare feet not the best place to look at.
