An apartment without a short term lease agreement. That way you can live there for a short while, and if for some reason you need to relocate, and fast, you can do so.

If you can afford it, I recommend a hotel that offers a special weekly rate. It will cost you, but if you add up the cost of first months deposit and rent, it may even be cheaper. You will not have a lease commitment and you can check out anytime you want. If you add up the cost of rent, utilities and the all the items you will need to be comfy in your new place, you will see that the cost of renting a room by the week may not be such a bad idea. You will have lights, a/c, heat, hot water, telephone, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, soap, mouthwash, maid service and most even offer free breakfast. You don't even have to clean up and you will have clean sheets and blankets. If you are concerned about laundry most of those places will do your personel laundry for a fee that's not much more that going to the washateria.

Remember, this is only a temporary stay and it is way better that staying with relatives or friends. You will not have to answer to anyone and you can come and go as you please. Good luck!

The best thing is to leave the area. Do not stay with friends or relatives. Find someone in the paper that is just renting a room. Figure yourself out. If you stay with friends or family they always are checking on you getting on your nerves and not allow you to move on as easily. They are Ex's for a reason. and sometimes the family or friends take sides. I hope this helps

An apartment or room in a rooming house where you pay by the week or month. You could also try the YMCA. Some motels offer weekly rates. You could also consider renting a room in someone's house or moving into the kind of housing students share where they rent a house together with several people. A lot of students are short on money and might let you room with them to help with rent. Check local newpapers or even bulletin boards at your local college or university.

Unless your spouse has committed adultery, you should try to make your marriage work.

If your spouse has committed adultery, file for divorce. Stay in a motel or the YMCA.
