I am looking for a specific hard drive enclosure. I really like the sleak appearance of the Vanec EZ Swap. Plus I want my hard drive to be using an empty 5.25" bay in my tower. ( http://www.vantecusa.com/p_mrk200st.html ). This is what I want though. I want to be able to take the Hard drive out of the tower and be able to use a firewire, usb etc. on any other computer that I take it to. Then, when I am finished, I can slide the hard drive back into my tower and lock it up. I can't find one that has the usb and firewire connections on the back after I take it out of the tower. I also want tit to have a digital display on the front. is there anything like this?

Thank you everyone for your help.

I did some research and I found a sata to usb adapter cable I can use. That may work. what do you think???? http://cgi.ebay.com/USB-2-0-to-IDE-SATA-Serial-ATA-Hard-drive-Adapter-kit_W0QQitemZ150168721751QQihZ005QQcategoryZ41994QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Never seen a removable caddy with USB on back, as that would mean builting a USB to IDE/Sata controller into a box not much bigger than the bare drive, so I suspect you're out of luck.

Mind you USB 2 drives are quite quick now, I like the Western Digital MyBook model for being quiet with good appearance and performance
