Do you live alone? Why not consider moving closer to your friends and family to start over?
You mentioned things are not working out with your boyfriend, so I would seriously reconsider moving in with him. Jumping from the frying pan into the fire is never a good idea. You may find yourself in a worse situation than you are now.
Is it possible to move back in with family until you can re-establish yourself and start again? 17 is pretty young to be on your own and if you are having to depend on someone else to survive, I would consider other options.
Wishing you all the best with your decision.

If things aren't working out with your boyfriend, things will be worse if u move to an unfamiliar place with him! The isolation will be nearly unbearable. Trust me....been there, done that!
If u need a change, want to make a new and better life, go back to school and get some sort of degree. Something else I learned is that life sucks when ur at a dead end job with no respect because u have no sort of real training or higher education. Even technical school training is better than just high school.
U could even go to school away..in Florida, but live in a dorm....NOT with ur boyfriend. The difference would be that u will have it easier in making friends. and YES, it is affordable, u can get financial aid....now is when u apply for it. You will be surprised how much assistance is out there for paying for college. Give college a try, what else u got to lose?

you don't say why you live so far from your friends and family but unless you have real problems with your family, it is better that you move back there. if you move to Florida with your bf, things may not work out and you will be even further away from friends and family. it is admirable that you want a better life but you have to first realize that at 17 you have time yet to do that, and how you are going to do that. If you can, get back in school, or even a vocational school, and get some training in a field which will give you that better life. There will be plenty of time for you to find someone you will love and who will love you once you are on your path to that better life and as I recall just getting older than17 leads to something better as you grow older

You say you want to make a better life, but you don't elaborate on what is wrong with the one you have. Things with him aren't working out, but you want to move somewhere with him? Honey, you are asking for a world of heartbreak. Do you work full time or are you still in school? It isn't easy to support yourself with just a high school diploma, do you want to struggle to make ends meet?
Bottom line, you say things aren't working out with your BF....there is your answer. Get YOUR life together, don't move away and hope someone can help you.

Do not move with your bf to Florida. Stay where you are. You will be closer to your support system there than you would be in Florida.
