One thing that you must check are the ABS sensors. If you pull the battery cable for a few minutes and reinstall it and the light comes back on you will need to have the abs sensors checked. If the brakes were done improperly the sensors can be damaged and/or not properly picking up the signals from one or more of the wheels. Be certain to have this checked if it comes back on for your safety/towing/hauling etc. You can certainly tell if the ABS is engaging if you drive about 30 to 35 mph and hit the brakes as hard as you can in an unpopulated parking lot or deserted road. The pump will pulsate and you should feel it in the pedal also. If the light comes back on or the ABS system does not engage have it inspected to determine what might be the issue.

YOU CAN TRY AND DISCONNECT THE BATTERY FOR 5 MINUTES, OR PULL THE ECM FUSE AS WELL.

THE BEST WAY IS TO USE A SCANNER AND RESET AND OR CLEAR THE CODES, DRIVE THE VEHICLE AND SEE IF THE LIGHT REMAINS OFF.
