Should I dress up as a Girl for Halloween????

Question

Is it okay? I want to be a girl for halloween? I think it would be funny. What would be the proper and tasteful way to do it, without being like a cross dresser or anything? How should I deal with critisim?

I'm not gay. My friends Kylie and Edna asked me to do it becuase they are dressing up as white rappers and it makes for a good group if you have girls pretending to be guys and guys pretending to be girls

Go ahead & dress-up as a girl for Halloween, let you friends dress you up in their clothes and take you out as their 'GIRL' on Halloween, but tell them you'll only do this if they make you look like a real girl, tell them that you want to be a sexy girl for them & have some fun on Halloween.

yeah, that would be real funny !! be a prom queen or a girl rockstar, barbie, little girl (that would be cute/funny) this would be the best idea since people will know you're just doing it for fun and not becoming a cross dresser and its easy. Just a pink dress with poofy sleeves little pigtails or get a blonde wig and put in two braids. carry one of those big rainbow lollipops or a teddy bear or a doll.

I remember, as a little child, that one of my neighbors dress up like a woman and it was very funny !! But he did it more like an older woman. He used like a nightgown and used a bra stuffed with 2 push lights that he kept on all throughout the night, he bought a wig and put big curlers in it, then he would carry around a rubber chicken offering to make up some chicken stew with it ! I found it hillarious and so did all the other neighbors.

Sorry, but few guys look even half-way passable. Most just look like guys in dresses.

So unless you are an incredibly small guy with a tiny chest, then (1) don't try to be sexy, (2) don't expect to be pretty, (3) don't even try to be passable.

Oh but do wear a dress, just pick a costume that will work and be funny. For instance, dress up as the tooth fairy... or Cinderella's ugly-step sister, a fairy god-mother, a witch, etc. The tooth fairy idea allows for a lot of creativity. You can wear wings, an antenna, a wand, and a prom dress and wig... Pin a drawing of a molar on your chest.. and stare at people's teeth and offer them a few cents for each tooth.

Another idea that could work is to wear a wedding gown and a horrible mask.... That combination is highly scary.

A girl huh? Well, there are a few different ways to look at this... since you don't want to look like a drag queen, I'm assuming that you aren't gay... And since you want to dress up like a girl, I'm assuming that you are secure in your masculinity... and kinda goofy and crazy...

So with that said, ask your female friends to help you out... find someone who has clip on earrings and is willing to paint your face up... next is to find someone about your size and borrow some clothes... I wouldn't suggest the underwear though...

Next to make it funny instead of weird, get the biggest bra you can find and stuff it until you can almost see the stuff that you stuffed it with... I don't know how old you are, but if possible, grow a mustache or a beard... that would add to the hilarity value... be aware that there is a point that you will look straight, but not gay... believe it or not, it's in between two extremes... if you just look like a business woman, that's saying that you are a crossdresser... if you dress like a hooker, that's saying that you are a drag queen... you have to over work the feminine look and not primp yourself up.

don't pluck your eyebrows, don't shave your face OR LEGS!! (if applicable)... and make sure you wear the biggest Peg Bundy wig you can find.

I have never understood why guys think this is funny. I guess I just don't see women as being so very different creatures than men. We're all just people.

But Halloween gives you the freedom to express whatever you wish, so do what pleases you and don't worry about what anyone else says.

There'll be less criticism than at any other time of the year. Maybe some raised eyebrows, but if you look like you're having fun that is all you need as rebuff.

Of course it's okay! Especially as its haloween!!

If you want it to be tasteful, dress appropriately: not only for your age but for your build as well. If you dress OTT you'll draw attention to yourself and end up looking like a drag-queen!

As for critisism, why should you be worried - it's halloween! Any other time you'd be more open to critism, but why shouldn't men/boys be allowed to wear skirts - they're dead comfortable although not always practical (e.g for firefighters, police, mechanics etc). Traditional Arab attire is a sort of dress, Scots and Irish wear kilts on formal occasions, even Roman and Greek soldiers appear to have worn skirts!

For your halloween, let the two girl-friends who suggested the idea help you with clothing or clothing suggestions and certainly with make-up. Then join them for a typical girl day.

Here are some other useful tips to help you with the experience:
* shave legs, armpits etc
* try Jell-0 or Rice in balloons to pad out your bra; you'll get a realistic wobble.
* if you're going to wear heels, get some practice in first!!

Wear a skirt and a tank top and put your hair in little pony tails and put on bright red lipstick. THAT would be funny.
