I guess it's easy for certain people to mistaken the ice cream truck's melody with a police siren...from what I have seen from some lil kids..either that or maybe because the ice cream man was rude so they're scared

I can't say that's ever happened to me. I would be the one chasing the ice cream truck not running from it. I love ice cream.

Ice cream truck and police sirens sound completly different. Usually police don't play their sirens though unless you're trying to run from them or if you're on the highway. So I don't know how people can confuse the two. Ice cream trucks will never play their melody on the highway nor will they play it on main streets, and cops will never put their sirens on in a hood. I got pulled over on the street, all I saw was lights. ahaha

It happens to me all the time - police in my town like to play "Teddy Bear's Picnic" on their loudspeakers...
