I see far more hatred, bias, prejudice and bigotry coming from so-called conservatives than I do from liberals on this forum.
That's probably because conservatives are brainwashed by the conservative-biased media which promotes and encourages hate, bias and bigotry.
It's too bad this site can't be used for intelligent discord and debate instead of people resorting to childish name-calling, juvenile jokes, and immature responses. The big problem is that most people on this site don't even understand the definitions of the artificial labels they've attached to themselves. I seriously doubt most conservatives or liberals could properly define exactly what conservatism or liberalism really is without diminishing themselves to cheap shots, crude replies and insipid answers.
Webster defines conservatism as "a political philosophy based on tradition and social stability, stressing established institutions and preferring gradual development to abrupt change".
Webster defines liberalism as "a political philosophy based on belief in progress, the essential goodness of man and the autonomy of the individual and standing for the protection of political and civil liberties".
I don't know a conservative who doesn't believe in the essential goodness of man; nor do I know a liberal who doesn't want social stability. So it appears that there's a little bit of both philosophies in most of us.
So why can't we devote our time and energies to trying to unify this great nation instead of continuously listening to Al Franken or Rush Limbaugh whose intent is to divide the people of this country? Let's face it: most of the people on this site who believe themselves to be conservative or liberal don't even know what those terms mean. They just follow along, listening to the toxic poison spewed forth by Hitleresque propagandists who brainwash their listeners while laughing all the way to the bank. -RKO- 10/08/07

I started to reply with something smartass and derogatory toward Republicans too, but something just occured to me. Republicans aren't all stupid, they've just got a different set of priorities. It's easy to look from the outside, and believe they've completely lost their morals and values, but that only plays into the divisiveness caused by the Bush Administration. If we're ever going to get past this, we're going to have to start spreading some tolerance- even to the trolls. Remember, anytime one of us takes a blind Partisan jab (even retaliatory), we become a puppet of the man. You don't want to be a puppet of the man, do you?

How would we even know they are conservatives if they don't predict doom, destruction and war? Or is it no war?
Without the curses and the labels and the nastiness, the name-calling and ignorance?
That must be why they label us weak, we actually try to make some sense, stick to provable fact.
No wonder they have no faith in diplomacy, they have no diplomatic skills.

You got it backwards. I read FAR more intelligent responses and questions from Conservatives here than liberals. All I ever read from liberals here is hatred...pure hatred and lies.
