It's a given that it can't be done now for obvious reasons, but I must say, Iran has a point. Who are we to say get rid of your Nuclear bomb program with our 10,000 (or more?) Nuc's ****** and loaded to fire at the drop of a hat.

WMD's as deterrants...?Like the death penalty as a deterrant. It dosent stop murder, it just rids the earth of murderers, and innocent murderers. It did'nt stop OJ.

We really are hypocritical over this. During the Cold War the CIA and the military were well aware that we had far more nuclear weapons than the Soviets had, yet they spread fear and terror throughout our country and lied about how much of a threat the USSR was in order to maintain the outsized millitary budget. They are still doing the same thing today, because it works. We are a nation of suckers.

That's an admirable goal, but since the dawn of man he has been seeking ways to kill more efficiently. Even if all nuclear weapons were scraped tomorrow, the knowledge needed to produce these weapons is still there.

eradicate away. Conventional warfare does plenty of damage. Nukes are NEVER necessary.
