I was bitter about men for quite a while after I got divorced but I'm finally over it...

not overall; but, i am bitter of my EX'ES family. They are disgusting, tacky people. and because my daughters (10 & 11) were at the father's family house on 12/26/06, a FIRE broke-out; my 10 yrs old now has 3rd degree burns on both arms; the 11 years old was rescued and revived by the fire department at the scene, and the grandfather died. ALL BECAUSE they were living in the dining room and caught a couch on fire with a space heater.

I am very optimistic by nature and will stay in a situation hoping it will get better, but it never does. Or is this laziness or apathy, and not optimism? The crap jobs I have endured, the crap relationships I have had. Looking back over that makes me cringe, yet I have just spent 3 days back and forth on the phone arguing with my ex. I never learn my lesson, which is AS SOON AS IT STARTS TO GO BAD, BAIL!!!! I change partners every 2 years, ones I should have not stayed with for more than 2 weeks. I am my own worst enemy. Someone I busted up with with much animosity 20 years ago, I recently bumped into and they put a proposition to me that I should help them build a house and they would pay me. We went touring for a block to buy and for a week it was a dream holiday. Could not believe how this person had changed. Then they turned on me like a snake and wrote a 2 page letter saying I was to blame for the split up 20 yrs before. We split up because he said I KNEW I WAS FALLING IN LOVE WITH HER WHEN I DANCED WITH HER AT OUR WEDDING. I should have left home at 8 instead of 18. I should have put more work into businesses I owned instead of trying to please boyfriends who were a drain on me. People I planned to get revenge on, have up and died before I had a chance! I should have exploited my looks more, but I was afraid of being called VAIN. I pretended to like various plays at the theatre just to be liked by people who liked those plays, when I was really asleep behind my eyeballs. I couldn't say no to people and found myself worn out going to kitchen teas and baby showers and does nights that were excrutiatingly boring. Visitors who were terrible company would drop in and stay for hours and I was too kind to not let them in. Please everyone learn from my mistakes. Don't lend your favourite dress to your best friend. Don't tell anyone anything about yourself that you would not want on the front page of the newspaper. I regret that I didn't have a larger number of relatives so I could say to them MY PARENTS ARE LOONEY, CAN I LIVE WITH YOU?

today I'm a little bitter . . cause of the incidents I experienced this weekend . . .I watched a man loose it this weekend with an other cause one man called the other sir . .one man thinks sir is a curse word and blew up at the other man for calling him sir . ..that had a real negative impact on me . . normally I'm more sweet than sour
