you dont have to reconfigure it, just hold down the up arrow above ctrl in the bottom left corner of the kerboard :D

go to control panel > keyboards and in here you will find the settings to change the keyboard from english (US) to english (UK)
or you may have a little "EN" sign near your clock in the bottom right corner, click it and you can change it here.

Bottom right hand side, next to the little arrow make sure it says EN english United Kingdom.
