Take any amount of money in exchange for your current spouse? For example, if someone said, you don't look happy, here's $10,000 to leave your mate, would you?

So, how much would it take? Would you even entertain such an offer? And I'm not talking about an "Indecent Proposal" situation either, just leaving, getting a divorce, nothing more.

The reason I ask is my alimony check just came, and I got to wondering if someone told me he was cheating on me a year earlier and gave me money, would I have taken off?

If the answer is no... what makes you say that?

no...I wouldn't get a divorce at any price...
on the other hand, if it was an "indescent proposal" thing...spending a whole day with someone for 1 million dollar, I would surely let my husband go do that and I would gladly collect the money...LOL
:P

It depends on the spouse! I'm not married but I don't think I'll take ANY money over my boyfriend. On the other hand I have zero tolerance for cheating; in a marriage or not! So, if I were married and he was cheating on me I'd leave him right away. And alimony, ... I'd hit the cheater bastard as hard as I can-- in his walet. He is a pig not a human if he cheats on his wife.

No, no amount of money would make me say here she is as things are. I understand that it would be slightly different if I was in your shoes in that situation. I believe that's the only moral grounds for divorce so I would have to re-think the answer in that situation. But just to say here, have some money, no way.

Because in my "happy little world" i would have to say NO, there would be no amount i would take in exchange for my husband, but if something was going on and someone said "your husband is doing this and here is proof. now would you take $xxxxx to leave him" I might have to think about it....

NO, we've been married for almost 40 years and I love her as much today as the day we were married. Beside who would I find that could put up with someone like me?

no i won't leave her because i consider my wife priceless and aside from the fact that i do adore her i don't think i will ever, ever leave her for anything. now the question i should be asking is would she leave me for something, that i really don't know because i won't ask her and i might get hurt or insulted if she name a price and it is low. but definitely i will never, never leave or exchange her for anything.
