Wrong . The only thing that gpes in a lawn mower, hand or riding is gasoline and oil. Anything else will only allow you to get rid of the lawnmower not the bugs. Did you read the directions on the citronella? Yes it may be a burnable oil but is not for an internal combustion engine. Try some in your car. Put about a gallon in the tank and rev the engine that should take care of the bugs.

In the first place if your talking about putting this in your gas forget it. This could clog your gas lines, screw up your engine. I worked as a lab tech with a County that uses spray for mosquito control. Citronella is a non invasive type of control that really doesn't work that well.
If you want mosquito control go to Wal-Mart and get a repellent with Malathion in it, up to 50% or more and fog the area.
It's been used in the U.S. without ill effects since 1947 throughout the US and no one has ever recorded any health problems from it. This is for those that are ready to disprove any of this.

Simply contact your local health department and find out the facts. Also "Clark Mosquito control" run by the city of Chicago, Ill.

I would suggest you just spray the area.
Any put in the lawn mower would just blow out the exhaust anyway, if it didn't make the engine blow up.
