All guitars are good but that depends on the player itself. Solid wood guitars are good because they are durable and last longer than cheap wood. Some solid wood guitars have attractive grains which makes them more attractive with/without finishes and some wood has distinctive natural colours. For high end electric guitars like Fender, Ibanez and such are very good guitars unless you change their pick ups to D'Marzio. As for high end Acoustic guitars naming from Martin, Maestro are also very good and produce really nice sounds. As for the cost im not too sure but i think it ranges from $1000 onwards for a higher end guitars.

the materials used and the craftsmanship employed in making the guitar are what make a guitar "good", but of course the person playing it has the most influence on how the guitar sounds ...
Martin, Fender, and Alvarez make good guitars ... there are other good makers too.
a good one will cost anywhere from a couple hundred dollars to several thousand.
It just depends on what you want.

The best guitar is made from Cebu City, Philippines, and worth only Php 1,500.00 up to 5,000.00 depending on the style you want. Even Spanish guitar produced by RJ Guitar is best in Asia. Exchange rate is Php 45.00 per Us dollar.

Hi. Acoustic guitars can have different sounds even between seemingly identical ones. The wood, amount of glue, finish, etc. all contribute. I personally like a lot of these sounds.

Good wood and a skilled luthier make a great guitar.
Martin and Gallagher and Gibson are all good guitars.
Some of the great ones cost in excess of $4000,00
