psp audio ??????

sometikes when i plug my headphones into my psp it says ....rock, small, pops and it changes about once a month . y does this happen and how do i change it

When your PSP headphone remote is plugged and your PSP is on you can click the music/sound button, next to the Select button on the bottom right of your PSP and you can cycle through the different audio/sound options.
