Any cheap and easy way to firm up my van's rear suspension so that it doesn't bottom out during a few ski trip per year loaded with people and gears?
Something like squeezing couple tennis balls in the coil springs?

If you have leaf springs add an extra leaf but with coil springs you would have to fit heavy duty springs and shock absorbers if available

You can purchase a set of helper springs at your local Auto Zone or other parts store. About 30 bucks and an easy fix.

Cheapest way is air shocks. If this doesn't help try some helper springs that you can buy at automotive store or a tire shop.
