I am 17 weeks pregnant and don't really feel anything yet. I'll get little butterflies once in a great while but not very often. Is it too early to tell? How far along were you when you first started feeling movement?

I've been told that at first it feels like butterflies in your stomach! and that happens around 15 weeks! So that might be the movement you are feeling?

I didn't feel the baby actually kick until I was about 18 weeks, and then it only happened a couple times a day. Now he kicks pretty often, and sometimes so hard that I can see my belly moving from the outside!! It is sooo amazing!

The little butterflies you're feeling are probably weaker kicks and other movements...some of the early things I felt around 15 weeks also felt like rolling and pushing. It was hard to describe, but it was almost as if there was a little goldfish swimming in my belly! You will feel stronger kicks very soon, I bet. Best of luck and congrats!

the butterflies are your baby moving around. at 17 weeks you shouldn't feel movements real often yet, just the occassional flutters. how early you feel it depends on your size (thin mom usually feels it early than over weight), if this is your first baby (you may not recognize it as easily), how busy you are (when you are busy, you miss alot of those little movements). Congrats on the expected arrival. Hope you enjoy the remainder of your pregnancy.

I am 18 weeks pregnant and I am just not feeling kicks, for the past few weeks I felt light flutters sometimes but not very often. But now its kicks and I love it! its amazing, it will come faster than you think =] And remember, if its your first baby you may not feel movements until you are like 20 weeks pregnant. Good luck and God bless =]

The butterflies you feel is the baby. You will start to notice it more in the next couple of weeks, then you will start to feel stronger movements.

With my first pregnancy I felt things around 16 weeks, but wasn't for sure if that was the baby. By 18 weeks I knew what I was feeling. Don't worry about it. In a week or 2 you will know for sure when you feel the baby.

i've been told it's normal for the first baby though. it could be as late as 22-24 wks before the first movements are felt.
at least i can see in the U/S this friday whether it's moving!

some people are closer to 20 weeks before they really feel movement. You may be feeling it just not really sure what it is yet!
