Unfortunately, the current Republican Party stands for staying in office and/or power.
Republicans were a political party for conservatives.
Conservatives are for moral values and protecting proven ways of doing things. Small government, personal responsibility, ect. The basic idea is that by distributing the responsibilities to the lowest possible division, there would be very little intrusion from the government and low tax.
I will hand it to you that conservatives have a tendency to fight against new ideas and change that may present large problems. You can't blame them for that. Conservatives are less likely to get involved with a suicidal cult. That may make some kinds of progress slow, but at least it would be well thought out.
The Republican Party, however, is now just like the base Democratic Party in that both are comfortable with the system as it is because they can live off of the population in a position of power. They both will lean hear and there to get enough votes to stay that way.
The difference is that the Republican Party is just conservative enough to not make big promises based on unproven or disproved concepts. Incidentally the Democrat party is liberal enough to get involved with a cult of sorts. When the socialist party crashed, they began to join the Democrat party and convince them of "new" ideas. Lacking the trigger in the brain to test the bright orange surface on the stove before touching it, some of them began to change.
True Democrats are for larger government control in the thinking that larger resources united into larger powers would be more efficient in solving all of the problems of the nation.
Socialist are for ultimate government control in the thinking that one united body would be most effective like an ant colony.

None of the above. Although many of the party's leaders are in denial that their actions could lead to many of the things you listed.
I'd list theocracy as the least likely outcome, though. And the Republicans don't have a monopoly on the rejection of science.

I wish I knew. I would like to hear what they stand for from someone who isn't merely spouting the rhetoric.
