My bf wants a sirius sattelite radio. I was going to get him the boombox he wants for his bday, and it is $98. How much is it actually going to cost to get the sattelite hookup?? I'm lost as to how this works? Or does it just automatically just get stations?

Your bf can hook it up himself if he can follow the directions that come with the unit.
And there is a number to call if he has problems with installing.
Or he can have it installed.

He won't automatically get the programing. Sirius is a paid subscription type of programming. It is as low as $12.95 a month.

The boombox will need a Sirius satellite receiver which you should be able to buy from the same store as the boombox. The receiver is actually how the boombox plays the music but he can then take it and put it in his car, office, house or whereever he wants if its not on the boombox.

Sirius Boombox =$98
The monthly cost for the reciever $12.95
The look on your boyfriends face = priceless
