The 'wireless' and the 'wired' are a single network. If someone gains illegal access to your wireless then they can transparently get the same access to your wired network. Well, unless you've got an odd setup with a firewall separating your wireless LAN from the rest of your LAN... which is not the case if you bought a wireless router.

I don't think there is an actual way to "intercept" what you're doing directly via wireless; if wireless connection "does" get "hacked" than in most cases someone is leeching your connection and is going online at your expanse using your IP address.

When connecting to an unsecured network, where there is potential of having someone "intercept" anything, it would only be the computers internal address; but nothing more.

To see the info they would have to have had remote access to your machine; which would require some type of backdoor that almost any virus scanner/firewall can protect you from.

Simple answer is yes. If your WiFi isn't secure, your whole home network is exposed.

Use WPA encryption for Wireless and you will be safe.
