It did unti I realized I was worrying about something I couldn't prevent from eventually happening by wasting time I could be enjoying.

No because if I worried about it that much my life wouldn't be worth living as I would already be dead from the worry. But you do have to be careful with your life because you only have one, but just don't obsess about it.
