I was just in Vegas a few weeks ago and didn't spend tons of money and I had a great time. The Flamingo is in a great location. There is a lot of site seeing and it doesn't cost anything. You could go downtown and watch the light show at night. A bus pass for the day is only $5. You can watch the fountain show at the Bellagio (free). The volcano goes off at the Mirage (free) There is the show at Treasure Island (free). That was kind of cool. There was a great little shop across the street from the Mirage with very reasonable t-shirt/sweatshirt type souviners. We ate breakfast or lunch buffets and they were around $12. We went to Margaritaville and Toby Keith's Bar & Grill (awesome drinks!!) I would recommend going to some shows. There is such a wide variety of shows and price ranges. You can stop at the ticket places (can't remember the name of it) and get most tickets at reduced prices. There are a lot of different tours that you can take. We took one to the Grand Canyon and it was amazing. Bring comfortable shoes!! When we walked out of the airport we got tickets for the shuttle bus. We paid $12 and that was to the hotel and back to the aiport when we left. The day before you leave you just have to call the service and request what time to be picked up. It was much easier and cheaper than taking a cab. The Imperial Palace has dealtainers. Their blackjack dealers look like celebs and preform. There is tons to do out there.....just how much you're willing to spend. You could take the bus to the outlet stores. Have a great trip.

The Flamingo is center Strip. Directly across the street is Caesars Palace and the Form Shops.
Head south on the strip from the Flamingo for about a block (it's a long block) and go into Planet Hollywood. This is the home of the Miracle Mile, a huge shopping mall.
If your room faces the Strip, you may be able to watch the fountains at Bellagio from your room.
You can have tons of fun just walking through Bellagio, Caesars Palace, The Mirage. In the evening, watch the fountains at Bellagio, the volcano eruption at the Mirage. If you want to walk a bit, there is the pirate show in front of Treasure Island, a few blocks north and across the street from the Flamingo. A little further north from TI is the Fasion Show Mall.
All of the above is free, except the shopping.

You are coming as it gets cooler here. So people watching isnt as fun as it is in the summer. But none the less, walk the strip, head to fremont street. Watch the people. All the casinos have some sort of give away for new card members so get a players card at all the casinos you visit.
Top of the Rio at the Voodoo Lounge, gives a great view of the back side of the strip. The Startosphere gives you a view of the entire Vegas Valley.
The water shows at Bellagio and The Mirage are great.
You will find things to keep yourself busy. Look in the magazines for coupons and specials..

Well, all of the hotels you have chosen are reasonably close to eachother and are at the south end of the strip, perhaps that is why you chose them. MGM Grand is one of my favorite hotels, I absolutely love that hotel. The rooms were amazing and comfortable, and most importantly (to me) the rooms didn't smell like smoke. The pool is amazing, the restaurants are great. I have never really seen any celebrities there except for Kurt Thomas and I assuming he was in Vegas because he was traded the day before :) It is the the last stop on the monorail on the south end and quickly connects you to the rest of the strip. New York New York has an amazing casino. I love everything about the ground floor. I have heard the rooms tend to be smaller at this hotel. Mandalay Bay is amazing. One of the Southern most strip hotels with mini monorail connecting to Luxor and Excalibur. The hotel in its entirety is amazing. Good pool. Luxor gives me vertigo, I will probably never stay there. But the clubs are good. LAX is popular for celebrity sitings. You may even see Carrot Top on any given day! : ) My pick: MGM grand!

Other than gambling and the shows Las Vegas has quite a few things to offer visitors. Red Rock Canyon, Hoover Dam and Bonnie Springs are just a few of the nearby destinations.

one of america's largest malls is located at the end of the strip near the treasure island hotel and casino. its called the fashion show mall and it is amazing. they have swarvoski, louis vuitton, etc. and then there's the forum shops at the ceasures palace and they have juicy couture, intermix, etc. and there's a chanel at the bellagio. then there's a mall called the galleria at sunset, but its located far from the strip near henderson. and there a lot of the casinos on the strip have shops inside of them:)

Well when you think of Vegas you think of gambling and bad Elvis impersonaters. What I would do is go find Criss Angel (Mindfreak). He is so awesome. His show is on Tuesdays @ 9 on A&E. I doubt that you'll have to pay to see him since he goes out to do his tricks. Hope you have fun on your trip and don't go bankrupt!
