Don't kid yrself, unless str8 from the ground, any "refining" is no longer natural! Some products are safer, but precautions always needed 2 b safe. BTW, I am a prof Carpet Clean Tech and industry trainer, & very aware of what i deal with daily!

Any cleaning product which has a chemicle base is halmfull to health.There is no chemicle that is user friendly.The producers will say many things by advertising.But these all are just make to sell the product.You can use them with protections like gloves,masks.etc.Otherwise all cleaning products have a % of chemicles which is halmfull.

Yes, they are extemely harmful to not only the enviornment but also to my family, which is why I switched to green. Organic cleaners even work better than chemical cleaners and they are much safer, too. I even use organic baby food and everything else organic. It's not that hard to switch lifestyles.

Not necessarily. Safer better alternatives? How do you know? Because they cost more? Because they advertise more aggressively? There are laid down, audit-able, "International Standards," and these standards must NOT be compromised.

I would just read the label to see what are the effects if on skin, gets in eyes, etc...there's tons of stuff nowadays that doesn't hurt you or the environment.

Been using them 40+ years with no detremental effects, unless I do stupid things to create extremely toxic gasses or liquids by mixing things that shouldnt be mixed together.

maybe the people who clean for us use toxic ones

I would use baking soda if I cleaned
