I actually prefer dueling favors. Double the pleasure, double the fun.

Yes,if it was an actual favor.You always return it.No,if you never wanted it to begin with.Example:some people think that showing up unwanted is a favor.As in helping you with somthing around the house that they know nothing about.All they do is make matters worse by solicitiing unwanted advice about something they know nothing about.I happen to think that this is very rude and not a favor at all.So over all,I would have to say it depends on the favor.And was it a favor to begin with.Or was it a sad attempt to help that ended in misery???

If I was in need and someone did a huge favor for me, I would always remember that, so when it comes time for that person that they are in need of a favor, I will definitely repay my favor to them and be there for them. : )
