I went to see Queen last year. What I saw was Brian May, a fantastic guitarist (but a horrible singer), Roger Taylor, one of the best drummers ever (but no stage presence), and Paul Rodgers, who I have never cared for. Oh...and a video of Freddie. The audience applauded more when Freddie appeared in video than any other time during the concert. Freddie made Queen the successful band they were. Brian and Roger are still trying to feed off that success. Without Freddie they are just a Queen without a crown!
