I had a food steamer going as well as a rice cooker, and a electrical kettle.
but the one with the rice cooker and electric tea pot plugged into it still works.
what has happened to the others?
how can i repair them?
(btw, I tried turning off and on the switch in rthe breaker box, but they still dont work. just that one out of the four)

if the sockets are in a radial circuit ..ie.. wiried one after the other then the one that is still working is supply the others in series ..a wire must have come lose inside the working socket ... isolate your supply and look at the terminals at the back of the socket reinsert any loose cable ends and tighten screws ok

If you have already turned the breaker off and on, that is probably not your problem at this point if all the outlets are controlled from the same one.. Verify that none of the other outlets are a GFI type. Ground faults can easily trip and shut power off to several outlets. Older styles have a red and black button on them, newer styles have an indicator light. If this is not the case, then you will need to turn OFF power to the outlet that is working and remove it from the box. No need to unwire, just unscrew it and pull it away so you can make sure no wires have come loose. If all looks good then post again for more possible situations.

If the breaker isn't tripped it has to be in the outlets themselves, the wiring between the outlet and breaker, or the breaker..
Test the outlet first with a test light( a lamp that will light in the "good" outlet)
If the test light works, it's your appliance you had plugged in.
If no power, go back and check the breaker again.
If you are handy, you might try changing the outlets.
If you don't know what you are doing, call an electrician...

Have you tried flicking ALL the switches downwards, switching the main switch off and then switching it back on and flicking all the other switches up again?
the same thing used to happen to me when I spilt water on the cooker rings and that's how I used to fix it

You tripped a breaker because you had too many things plugged in. You may need to have your outlets rewired. Call an electrician.
