The first thing I would do is call my mum and tell her to go choose a house and a car, whatever she wants, then I'd buy a house for my brothers to live in and at least one for me and my hubby, then holidays for all!!

Well first things first! If you really won a lottery, congrats, but if you are just asking, then....NVM
But if I were you, I would save up for the future. Maybe for my kids, career or something... I rather save then spend. Its better than spending your entire fortune on something that won't do you any good. Advice to you, don't get greedy or obnoxious!

first i'd pay off all my debts and my mortgage then i'd have to think about it. here are some of my ideas:
probably do all the rennovations i've been wanting to do but never had enough dough to do.
buy some real estate and a dowry and a trust fund for college education for each of my kids.
get my lover an apt nearby
buy the firm i work at and fire my boss
buy her a car
take a vacation
buy a baseball team
buy a bank
buy the government and get them to cancel all the taxes

OMG~ I have sooo thought about this sooo many times!
I'd buy me a real old plantation home somewhere in the country.
Fix it up to my liking and buy me a few Mastiffs to enjoy the land with me.
I'd plant me a big garden out in the back complete with a small fountain and Koi Pond.
I'd also get me a few four wheelers for the awesome parties I'd throw on the weekends!

I guess the first question would be, how much did I win?
Next I would pay off all my bills and get rid of credit cards
Then I would quit the job I have and do some volunteer work or just work part time
I would also like to do some travelling.

First thing I would do is figure out who I was going to share the good fortune with. My friends, family, church and organizations that deserve financial support. After I write those checks, it's off to travel the world! I would be bringing alot of "cash, gifts and tokens" to give to special people I meet along the way.

Invest enough that I have a lifetime income without touching principal, buy a bigger house, a new truck and travel. I would start with Europe and then Australia and southeast asia

I would burn my Michigan home - put a huge thank granholm sign in that area.
Leave the rubble for people to see.
I would then leave this condemned state and buy a island in Florida and pray for a hurricane
