It depends on the person and what the something is as an 80 year old could do something that a 70 year old couldn't do.

In my opinion, something is old when it's reached about 100 million years. A person is old at 75 to 80. Forget about "acting young". When a person goes skydiving and it's on the news... it means they're old, no matter how youthful they want to appear.

If you can't do it (whatever it is) anymore because of your age, you're too old to do it.
