Notice the use of the term "cackle"? Ever hear that used to describe a man? The word is meant to be a derogatory hen house reminder. Woman as hen.
Even snippy is a kind of diminutive put down. Why not angry? Or annoyed?
And of course, the fact is that plants are put in by the opposition at all times. Is it possible she recognized him from previous appearances? Or was his question too pat?
Bush walks off rather than take tough questions, he also claims executive privilege for himself and anyone Congress wants to interview. No one calls him 'snippy'. And when he gives his smirky hee hee, no one calls that a 'cackle'.
A little subtle sexism here perhaps?

Oh horrors, she got "snippy"! Why? Sometimes people get annoyed even Presidential candidates...why do some people think candidates have to be superhuman and never show an emotion? Have you ever seen GW Bush on the rare occasion when he gets a question that he doesn't like?Snippy ain't the word for it.................

I personally expect 'allot' from someone wanting to be the leader of the U.S. Personal self control would be one of those 'expectations' at a 'press conference where answering hard questions are the norm. I would however desire to know 'where' this instance occured and 'what was the question asked?

She has reason to be defensive because it is NOT in our national interest or consistent with prior US law to declare a unit of another nation's army a "terrorist organization". Her apparent support for another Bush war is insane.

Probably because she plants people and doesn't like when it's done to her. Or because she is for free speech and political dialog ("can we talk") as long as you agree with her and think she is wonderful. I expect that if she is elected, the political section of Yahoo answers will be quickly shut down.

Could you back up your claim please? When I taught high school one of the fundamental principles of writing was to back up a thesis with supporting statements and evidence. So as an adult, I'm sure that this could happen.

Also what on earth does "acting snippy" mean? Do you use that claim simply due to gender or can any candidate regardless of gender act snippy.

Maybe she would follow in George W.'s footsteps and place plants in the press conference audience, too, if she were elected President!

Because she is a political hack that will not tell the truth. Yes, that is what we have to look forward from her.
