HHHMMMMMM !!!
Machines vs paper ballots HHHMMMMM.
In my memory, the paper ballots were manipulated back then, also.
Just study "BOX13, DUVALL COUNTY, TEXAS, IN 1948, that fiasco ( the box of votes 'mysteriously disappeared' for 3 days, and when found in a Democrat leaders garage, the ballots were counted, and LO- AND BEHOLD, 1. There were several 'dead' and sick people who voted exactly in alphabetical order, and 2. The count was just enough to give the Democrat candidate a majority vote in the election.
So what is the significance?
Anyone ever hear of LYNDON BAYNES JOHNSON?????(LBJ)???
Before that box of ballots was located in the garage, The democrat's were behind and 'ALL HELL WAS BEING RAISED ABOUT A RIGGED ELECTION, ELECTING A REPUBLICAN' !!! After the NEW election results, " 'NARY A WORD , FROM THE DEMOCRAT'S, ABOUT A RIGGED ELECTION".

To the best of my knowledge, Democrats did complain a lot about the result of the election in Florida district #13, in the Sarasota-Bradenton area. Republican Vern Buchanan ended up being declared the winner by a small margin, and Democrats complained that there was SOMETHING unfair about that election.

As far as I'm concerned, the problem lies not with voting machines, but with the U.S. Sup. Ct. Justices who ruled in Bush v. Gore.

I would expect more. Did you notice that all of the voting machine problems took place in voting areas under Democrat control? But I guess the main problem is that you have to actually look at and read the ballot. One thing that is not often mentioned, in the Liberal area where Buchanan won, the ballots were changed for some reason at the moment (Gore's position on the ballot). It was a Democrat controlled area with a large senior population. When the Democrats who were driving the seniors to the polls were telling people how to vot for Gore, instead of saying, "Punch the hole next to Gore's name", they were saying, "punch the hole next to position B." So while I am happy with the result, it looks like the Democrats brought that one on themselves.

Yep funny when the democrats win they don't talk about voting machine problems.
Yet when republicans win than the consparcies fly about voter problems.

Like some sports fan when their teams lose the other sided must have cheated.

I can't speak for all precincts around the country but where I live we went from electronic voting back to paper. That seems like a good temporary fix to me.

What does it matter, they both as crooked and shady as the Amazon Rainforest painted by Picasso. The answer to all of the problems is not in politicians but in the people.

I find that very amusing that the people themselves disagree, so you need to be told what to do in order to do it? you need to be told what to believe and what is correct? by people who don't know you or care for you? When was the last time either side had your best interest at heart?

probably not, bet there are plenty of Republicans stole their last election in close races.

But more of them must be getting fixed now that Republicans are trying to keep people from voting with their photo ID games.
