Once you have completely downloaded a file you then become a seeder. A seeder is a person who has 100% of the file downloaded and then continues to share the file by letting other users upload the completed file from them.

So, when you seed...that means you have completely downloaded the file to 100%.... seeding is when you continue to share the completed files with others (letting others upload the file from you).
It's always a good thing to seed until you get to, at least, a 1.0 ratio.. meaning you upload as much as you download.
If you download a 20 mb file then you MUST upload at least 20 mb to other people...
Hope that made sense...

If you are talking about "seeding" an existing Torrent, you are alsready doing that any time you are downloading the Torrent, or if, once your download is complete, you leaving the Torrent running. Any time it shows you "uploading" information, that is seeding.

it does it automatically when you have finished downloading, to continue seeding just dont delete file from whatever bit client you use.
