I have had that too and my biggest and best response that dumbfounds most of these types of people is "You know your colors! You get a gold star! Now tell me what the color of the leaves are on that tree." ect ect. And I do it in a condescending voice of a Pre K teacher. And when they get all uppity, I usually say "Sounds like someone needs a nap" in the same voice. If you keep it up long enough they usually go bye bye. LOL
I have black friends that use that on white people too. And it has never failed.
Most people are still stuck on stereotyping and because they just won't let go of the hate and love to start drama or to make themselves feel better and blame everyone else for their insecurities or inadequacies. But, it is changing, slowly but surely and hopefully in the near future it will just be non existent and we will see people for who they are not what they are or their color.
Blessed be and Peace

Kind of like when Southerners and Europeans call me a Yankee, I see it as something to be proud of.
