Of course it is a reason, sweetie !! No love, .... no happiness. Period ! People change, .. marriages change.... I got out and I found true happiness ... The alernative ?? Stay in the marriage, grow old and bitter, and regret it all later .. Go with your heart, .... Follow your dreams, .... be happy.

If ur in your 30 ish this is so common. U think ur missing something & want a fresh start. Marriage is work, commitment and learning to respect and appreciate your partner. Love is part of it. I'm not sure u believe what u wrote?!!! But if u think divorce will solve ur problems I doubt it. It's fine if u feel the need to find yourself. But if there r children involved, it's not ok to drag them around while U find yourself or jump in bed to the next man. Ur children and U deserve better. I'm wondering if u told your husband cause u want him to have a reaction. That possibly u feel invisible and bored with him and ur life.
I strongly recommend that u seek counseling to sort out your personal problems vs. your marriage problems. I don't think ur grasping the true reality of ur situation. Take time for you, find your likes and dislikes. What is it that u need to be fufilled with yourself. U have to love u before u can love anyone else!

It can be, but it would be better if the two of you could first get counseling to see if there isn't a way to salvage the relationship.
Perhaps he stopped doing the things he did to make you love him to begin with and you can both regain that love and make it better by going back to doing those things.
If that doesn't work, the divorce will have to be the answer but 12 years is a lot of time together to throw away.

You need to be happy and if you aren't in love with your husband anymore then yes I think thats a reason for divorce. Sometimes people just grow apart. We can't control our feelings. Best of luck!

At least you told him and not just go ahead and cheat on him.....I would've loved my ex to tell me he wanted out than just go cheat and destroy so many lives....good luck......but before you make your decision, make sure you are making a good choice, some people think the grass is always greener on the other side. Maybe you two just need some counseling to try and make things better between the two of you. If that doesn't work, well at least you know you tried to make the effort....

You can do a no fault divorce. Takes time, but if you want out, its about your only choice. You can divorce for any reason, you just have to pay them. :-) Have you guys tried to work things out or talk?

Why would you not LOVE your husband all of the sudden? It makes no sense at all. Maybe you are cheating or wanting to. Shame on you if thats the case! When you make a vow before GOD we are supposed to keep the vow. I know one thing for sure you need to seek GOD and JESUS right away. You really need GOD right now . I am going to pray for you. for 12 years you not loving him??... well.. i think you should consider it.. if you have kids with him, think about your kids.. if your relationship is still in good condition, think about it, try to love him.. accept him the way he is.. but if you are in the edge of breaking down, just say it... that would be the best reason..

I just got a divorce after 12 yrs. of marriage and it was consenual on both parties, no kids, and there was NO TRUST so that is grounds of divorce. HE PUT INSUPPORTABILITY bc i was having surgeries???? PLUS I was basically supporting HIM, what a joke!!!! NOW he is going through back surgeries too????? 6 months later,,,,GOD works in mysteries ways!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
