1. I'm 22 wks & 5 days pregnant today with my first baby. I'm having aching cramps in my lower tummy but he's still moving. Is this round ligament pain?

2. Seeing as though I'm a little over 5 1/2 months, when will everyone else be able to touch my belly and feel him kick?

3. Did you have your baby natural? If so why & would you do it again?

Thanks guys! =]

Itz very natural to have cramps around that time! make sure you go to doctor for regular check up. or If you see any bleeding !!

They can feel as early as 4 to 5 months... It is abt time ppl can feel the movement of the baby!

Yes! I did have my delivary natural without any epidural or spinal injections!! BEST THING EVER! I dont have any back pain whatso ever after my 2 babies... and my back is as healthy as any 20 yrz old..... I think if you can go to Lamaz classes and learn how to breath and keep doing little walking or keep up with ur health and eat little less in the last 4 weeks (this is when babies put on weight so eating less fatty food makes babies not put on toooo much weight) that makes it easy delivary... once the baby is out you can feed nice food to him/her .... Keeping the baby small at the time of delivary requires no C section or difficult delivary.... going to restroom every moment u feel the urge in the time of delivary also makes it easy for baby to go come out easily... Good luck!!! :)

Oh and YES! If I have another baby I would go complete natural...!! :)

1. Sounds like it. You probably don't have anything to worry about. Your baby is starting to get bigger and he will be more active, so you're going to have cramps and discomfort. As long as you aren't having any sharp pains, bleeding, etc ... I wouldn't worry too much.

2. Its different for different babies. It depends on how fast he grows and how active he is. I would say between 6 and 7 months he'll definitely be getting in some good kicks against your belly.

3. Yes, I had my baby naturally. I was 17 years old when I had my daughter and everything progressed so quickly there was no time for an epidural. I would definitely like to do it again, my new little one is expected in February ... but I've been told by many people that sometimes subsequent births don't go as fast. I definitely don't want an epidural, but if I'm going to be having contractions for 16 hours, I might accept some pain medicine.

1) could very well ligament pain, baby is growing through a growth spurt about now so he is also taking up extra room. As long as the cramps do not come at regular intervals, and no show, no water breaking, nothing to indicate you are in prem labour all should be well.

2) I went to prenatel in late August I was due January 7th in early January. I remeber sittting at prenatal and watching my bean squirm, it was something from a alien movie. People could feel her at that point also, So my answetr to this will be it varies for each person and each pregnancy, but soon!

3) No I had a planned c-section so no going natural with that, i admire anyone who even tries it. Before I knew i was getting a section I has said many times I wanted that epi at the first contraction lol, I was so scared of the actual labour.

1. The cramps you are feeling is likely Brackston Hicks contractions which are normal. It's sort of like your body preparing for birth.

2. Anyone can touch your belly at any time. Whether or not they can feel the baby kicks depends on how active he is and whether you can feel it yet. You are at about the time you would start feeling it.

3. never had a baby so cannot answer this. I would say it would depend on your tolerance to pain. I know several people who delivered naturally but not necessarily by choice (baby came to quickly). You may want to decide this closer to the date when you know about what size the baby will be.

1.Instead of guessing about the cramps, visit the ob.

2.The baby kicking is amazing. When you can feel the movement others can too! But it does actually become quite visible too later.

3.Have your baby naturally if its an option (but keep an open mind and let the doc decide), you will not be sorry. I did it and it was the most fun thing I've ever done in my life. The contraction pain was bad - pushing the baby out was not.

Once he's delivered, you will feel as good as new because you will be mobile having not had a needle to the spine. It's a benefit for him to go through the birth canal too, to clear his lungs.

Good luck~~ Babies are the best thing in the world.

1. Cramps in early pregnancy feel different from round ligament pain but both are normal. The round ligament pain feels kind of like pulling, stretching and tearing. Cramping is like what you feel when you have your period.

2. I think in my 6th month my husband was able to feel movements from the outside, but they were not very strong yet.

3. Had my 3rd baby natural and will do it again. Hurt like hell but there were no drugs to wear off and I went home in 4 hours!

1. That or braxton hicks.

2. Technically now, but it won't be constant. The baby will control when she wants to show off and when she wants to be shy.

3. I was in natural labor for 24 hours before they took me into an emergency c-section. One word of advice--if you desire a natural birth then tell your doctor BUT keep an open mind in case something unexpected occurs. Which is more important: whart YOU want or what you and baby NEED to be okay?
