It's the way we were made. Personally, I'd rather never remember, but I am plagued with the never forget.

In general to have a happy relationship you need to try to understand the other person and become like them when dealing with them. Obviously you must remember important events and dates. Sometimes women cram too many details in requests that men can simply not remember. If you give a simple request like pick up some milk on your way home then you are well within your right to get upset if he forgets. However, if you give him a list over the phone with 15 items and 2 or 3 specifics about each items (low fat, this name brand, ect) then if he forgets several things you really can't get upset. Men dealing with women need to pay attention to detail. Women when dealing with men need to let small stuff go, especially in the past. Neither party should ever say things that start with, "you never or you always". Deal with the situation at hand. Again, we are dealing with small stuff. If he or she cheats on you or says something bad about your mom, then yes you have every right to be upset. If they forgot your birthday than yes you have the right to be upset (...for a year) If they forgot to to pick up your clothes from the dry cleaners, let it go.

Any married man should forget his mistakes. There is no use in two people remembering the same thing!
Does this make more sense to you? LOL!!

It is God's way of giving men some respite from the hardships of life, and God's way of punishing women for being a PITA> (sometimes)
