I think it's a goldfish but I don't have any fish food. I've had it since last night and I need to know if there are foods around the house that I can feed it.

Try bread crumbs. Crackers might have too much salt in them.

But go get some fish food soon.

please do not feed your goldfish bread or crackers! Your goldfish will be fine for now, get yourself some fishfood. If you cant get to the store tomorrow, you can fed your goldfish skinned cooked green peas. Or perhaps some blanched dark leaf lettuce (not iceburg!) a very thin slice of orange or strawberries offer a special treat to the goldfish. Be sure to remove any uneaten food after an hour so that it does not foul the water.

You can skip a day or two, fish are hearty & will not die that easily. Go get some appropriate food, unless you have fresh shrimp or something in the fridge. Some tiny bits of bread will do in a pinch.
It would have to be broken up into very tiny pieces... but your best bet is to wait & buy some food for fish, specifically.

Cream crackers in moderation. Garden worms. Cheerios.
Goldfish are scavengers and will try most things.
