We always go to my Grandma's house on Christmas Eve and open her presents. Then on Christmas morning, we open presents at my house, and later we go back to my grandma's house for dinner(her stuffing is the BEST). Then we always go bowling :P

This year I will go back to my roots. On the 24th December - me and my teenage children (they know that father Christmas happens to be mom, Dada and the bank now) - will prepare a feast together - have dinner at about 9pm and then sweets from midnight - and open our presents - then go to sleep - this is how we celebrated with my mom and dad and also when we first got married - we kept the tradition alive (Portuguese and Welsh) - then on the 25th the Turkey will be cooked and taken to mother in law's house - we will have our xmas dinner there together with husbands Grandad (now 93 years old), on the 26th we then invite friends over, with all the leftovers and have a ball!

Going to my parents this year for Christmas. I don't know what we're doing yet. Probably just hang out around the house and relax. I hope it's not another 80 degree Christmas though like it was last year.

I have to work on Christmas unfortunately so I am home for the holidays. We are planning on having some friends and family over on my first day off after Christmas though.

Very little different from any other day of the week.
Our family have emigrated (with grandchildren) so it's just two old fogies these days.
Don't bother with any decorations anymore - too much hassle just for us.
Just an ordinary day which I will probably spend on the 'puter and himself will spend asleep in his armchair.
Exciting, what?!

Go home and see my parents. Christmas is a time for family. Or sitting on a beach in Thailand!

christmas eve we spend with my extended family and christmas day we spend at home with our dogs and cats. we visit his brother and his family for less than an hour and then we have our 'adopted daughter' come open presents with us. it's not your traditional family thing but we always have a wonderful holiday this way.

I would love to spend with my friends especially my girlfriend to a nice Christmas dinner. we give out Xmas cards and maybe give presents only if we could afford one. this would be the happiest day of my life.
