cause crows caw caw and thier caw releases a hormone which covers thier feet with insulation- so they dont get no shock.:)

The wires have a plastic or a ceramic coating- besides as what they call "icky %." it rather is a great sticky gel like substance that absorbes power. The wires interior the cable besides are lined with a plasic silicon to quit static. except there is an beginning interior the cable/twine- it wont ask your self them becuase theres lots stuff preserving the flexibility shifting interior the cable- no longer on or around it

It is necessary for electricity to have a path to flow; point A (source) and point b (load, or where the power will be used). The crow can make contact with the line, but as long as it doesn't make contact to with something else to create another path, all will be fine in the crow's life.
I would look for the example in the link below.

This is possible because a bird only touches one line. If the bird were to touch another line or pole the electricity would travel through the bird, either to the ground or another wire.
To do any work, even to harm a person or other living thing, electricity has to flow FROM something TO something. So it could flow FROM a wire TO another wire, or FROM a wire TOO the ground, or FROM a cloud THROUGH a person TO the ground. When a bird sits on a wire there is great electrical POTENTIAL, but it doesn't go anywhere so the bird is perfectly safe since the electrical potential has no path through the bird.

As was previously said, they would have to touch both wires to be electrocuted. I seen a hawk that had caught a snake landon a top of a power cable and the snake touched the other (ground) cable and was electrocuted instantly.

as they arent touchin the floor, the electricity will allways take the quickest route to the ground, and through the power lines eventually it will get to the ground, so if there is something touching it its not going to go all the way through the body so it ignores it, but if its touching the ground then that automatically becomes the quickest route to the ground and therefore the electricity takes that route instead. x

That is VERY simple they sit on one line. You need two to complete a circuit. (A Hot and a neurtal) since they are not grounded then no electricity goes thru them. You can tell all your friends that CROWS have insulated feet. that keeps them safe.

electricity only flows through a circuit. So, unless you touch 2 wires or 1 wire and ground (which acts as a conductor), you won't pass electricity.

They aren't grounded. You wouldn't get shocked either if you dangled from the cable w/o touching the ground.

I think you have to be touching two of the wires to get shocked.
