That looks like a statline for a Heisman candidate, not NFL. What in the world? He's really picking apart defenses.

I agree with Terrcy C. Everybody crowns Peyton like he has 5 Super Bowl rings and Brady has only one. When will people realize that Brady has 3 rings and has gotten them rings because of a good defense and adequate recievers on offense. This is the first year where Brady has had quality recievers. Manning has had Harrison and Wayne for years.
51 td's and 7 int's would blow Peyton's record out the water. I hope that Brady gets the record.

What are you talking about? They havent played any of their tough games yet. They still have Dallas, Washington, Indy, Baltimore, and Pittsburgh left to face. Dont think because the Pats have been running over such defensive powerhouses as Cincinnati and Cleveland that they're going to put up 30+ points every week this season.
They are going to benefit, though, from a very weak schedule. The AFC East is a bit of a joke this season, as is their rotating NFC slate in the NFC East. The AFC North is improving but Pittsburgh is the only real contender there so far. Brady is going to have a great season but its way too premature to talk QB records for anyone except Favre right now.

He would have to throw at least 3 TD every single game and it's not going to happen. Especially at the end of the season.
When Manning set the record, he had three games with 5 TD and one game with 6 TD because of his bad defense.
Brady doesn't need to do that, he will wisely take what defenses give him instead of playing for numbers.

If he keeps going, he will crush Peyton's season TD record...I hope he does...I'm sick of people wanting to crown Peyton as the best ever...*L*...Brady is better and we know it...Super Bowls speak for themselves...and for the record, Joe Montana is still the best ever...

he's off to a great start, and looking at the rest of their schedule, it is very possible. They have some pretty weak teams (and lots of them) left to play.
