Everyone knows: The polls are VERY biased towards their FAVORITE; USC. We will never have a true unbiased poll.

If that’s an all time ranking, I am not a bit surprised. India began doing well only since 2000s, to be honest. Earlier, their main motive was to draw the matches and series. Edit: The West Indies team after 1990 has let them down; else they should have been up there after Australia. Everything’s fair. Bangladesh is not a test team at all. BCCI is the culprit here. Ireland would have improved more had they been given the test status. Zimbabwe was a far much better team than Bangladesh with players like Flower brothers, Streak, Guy Whittal and others. They were competitive at least. Robert Mugabe is the culprit there. Several white players were on top of their careers when Mugabe started all that sh!t. Edit: Where did I say only modern era matters, Mr. Over? I said India started doing well only after 2000 and were not a good test team before that. You're seriously over aged to participate in any kind of discussion, Mr. Over.

West Coast biased. USC loses AT HOME they should drop more. I wouldn't agree with some that would put them out of the rankings, probably closer to 15th or so for who they lost to and at home. Sure they lost at the end, and it was a Conference opponent so throw everything else out the window. You still have to drop them out of the top 10 for that.

Who was the #1 team that lost? USC wasn't #1. They were #2. Anyway, I can't see Florida dropping that far.

There have been BIG PROBLEMS with college ranking for a LONG TIME. There is NO justification on why a team should drop that far when they looses. Look at how far Michigan fell when Appalachian State . Hopefully the system will be more fair, but don't bet on it.

I don't understand it either!! Once again USC will lose to nobodies and STILL be in the BCS race. Florida lost to #1, not a team like Stanford.

I too scratch my head at this one....U of M was #5 when they lost to Appalachian State and they dropped out of the top 25! Poof!
GONE. (never to be heard from again).
This system seems quite unbalanced and unfair.
