I am for it - lets tax the product and sell it in drug stores. Eliminate the criminal element with it and you eliminate the illegal trade - illiminating the reason will imprison so many people.
Good Luck!!!

I'm against smoking grass because the same cancer-causing chemicals found in tobacco smoke are found in marijuana smoke. There is no nicotine in marijuana smoke, but that's not the problem.
Marijuana advocates claim that for some chemotherapy patients, grass is the only thing that relieves the accompanying nausea. Not only do most chemotherapy agents NOT cause nausea, legal and effective anti-nausea agents can be administered as a rectal suppository, which means there is no good medical reason for legalizing pot.
Sorry, kiddo, but I can no more endorse the use of pot than I can approve the use of tobacco products. Neither does you a bit of good and both are harmful. I will agree that there are far more IMMEDIATELY dangerous drugs out there, and that police efforts should concentrate on those - heroin, crack, opium - and upon vigorously prosecuting driving under the influence of alcohol.

If it is legalized it will bring in tax dollars. with cigarettes taking a beating in popularity, why not legalize marijuana?
I'm for it. From what I've read , it's not the hazard tobacco is.
The government doesn't a rat's *** what is good and isn't good for you. Look at it this way . You can load your car up with booze .That's legal. Find a few ounces of grass in that same car and you are screwed;and in the courts, a pothead.

I'm for it. It seems to have less of an effect on health than other legal drugs like nicotine and alcohol. And it is less "intoxicating" than alcohol. The only real bad thing about it is that it makes boredom ok, which is why I'm a 24 year old college dropout with bad credit.

ok by me.
I dont use it but i dont think it is much worse the
alcohol and cigarettes they will kill you just as quick
Like anything else if you want it you will find a way to get it.
Make it legal and tax it.
the demand will suprisinly go down and so wll the violence
that goes with the smuggling and selling.

i am totally for it
my reasons:
no one has died from it and i have friends that were over 21 and died from legal alcohol poisoning
its a natural plant that grows in the dirt
it impairs judgement less than the cunsumption of alcohol
the government would make more more selling it

im definatly for it...
im a weed smoker and i prefer it to drinking any day!
there should definatly be guidelines cause after all it is a drug.
but if they ever do make it legal we would end up paying a fortune as the would put a stupid amount of tax on it!

I'm for it for medicinal purposes...although it would free up the court system, it shouldn't be legalized for personal use,,,it is an addictive and semi-powerful drug...
