The type of mood where everybody ought to stay out of your way? You're dealing with issues you have little control over, and you know everything will work out at some point? You don't necessarily want to be in this mood, but you know you're in a mood and don't even want people around? Tell me about it, then please make me laugh.

One morning I work up late, so everything gets rushed, I needed to get to the hospital where I worked. Put on my scrubs, got to the door and the neighbors cat spray peed on my slacks. I had to go in and change, all the time cursing that freakin cat . Our uniforms had to match, I took out my last uniform and lab jacket and drove the hours drive to work. I can't find a place to park because I am late. I have to walk 2 blocks to get to he hospital, walk where the elevators were, go up to the seventh floor walk all the way down and get to my office . One of my co-workers asked me if I had a bra on, I said of course! I was sort of insulted she would ask. She said, well, you have another one hanging from your lab jacket. At first, I was still mad at the cat for peeing on me and then when I thought about it, it was pretty damn funny

Hello Lady G. Yes I DO wake up in a mood especially when alot of things are bothering me, like this morning. Alot of things are on my mind, and I dont know which ones I want to think about. Sad thing is, I work in a restaurant, and I HAVE to be nice to my customers.and try to be in a good mood. I hate going to work in a bad mood, but sometimes the nice customers can get me out of my mood for the time being any way,

Well, to begin with I am not your morning person ;-) Then when I wake up in a mood that makes me unfit for human consumption I just stay away from people [live alone] and often don't even answer the phone.

This usually happens when I've got brain-worry overload so I sleep; then watch the TVland channel on cable and 'light' shows from the 50's and 60's.

Hope your day gets better - don't kick the cat/doggie - lol

I wake up a bit cranky almost every morning. Things usually get better by around 10:00ish. If I am in a bad mood, I do my best to avoid everyone until it passes. Sometimes I will take a drive to the bird refuge and watch nature, or if it's a really bad day I will have a large glass of wine with lunch, or for lunch!

I get in that mood upon waking sometimes. Everything irritates me. I want to be alone but I can't. I have to try real hard to talk myself out of it. Sorry, I can't make you laugh Lady G, but I do hope after the fog has lifted you will feel better for the rest of the day. Meanwhile, cheer up little buckeroo.

I get in a mood sometimes ,but it's usually later in the day. I'm in a good mood, until someone does something to change it. I know things that we have no control over are the hardiest to deal with. I hope being here with us will brighten your day. I'd really like to make you laugh, but you can't see my face through the computer. lol Feel better.

I don't generally wake up in moods - I sleep to get over them! It's hard when you know your mood is irrational. My recommendation? Ice cream or chocolate... or both. :)Sometimes a little comfort food goes a long way. Chocolate also has a natural chemical that mimics the feel good hormone so go nuts!

Not anymore. I divorced the bad mood monster. I wish people could leave their moods at home. I hate going into work reasonably happy and find a co-woker in a hateful, mean mood. It brings me down and makes for a long day.

Yup, I do. A while back one of the ladies here in the complex said, are you coming to the BBQ, I said nope, she said how come--I said because I'm a b*&**, she said well that's my job, told her it was mine now and I was keeping it! That afternoon I locked myself out of my apt. -- could not find either key lady or the super and remembered my window was open so I popped the screen off and wormed my fat ol butt thru the window to get in -- all the while hoping that noone was watching -- after I got in and thought about it I had a good laugh, the day was better after that. If ya wake up feeling like a snake, don't bite it could make ya sick.

I hear you ,loud and clear. I am usually very easy to get along with and fairly even tempered since I met my best friend Paxil. When I find myself in a mood after constant heckling from my husband , it pains me to admit this but when I say the F word he backs off immediatly until further notice. I always hear him laughing as he walks away.
Oh yes, I almost forgot .....eat lots of ice-cream!
