i'm 19wks pregnant, but my baby has been moving A LOT lately!!! she is my first, i THINK it's a lot, but i really don't know.. lol :P last night, i was falling dozing off and i woke up to a little punch, then i felt kicking. i was like "what the hell?!" haha :D when i told my husband, he said "oh she's going to be bad, i know it!", my mom said, "she's going to a hyper one" and my mom-in-law told me, "she's probably going to be like her daddy" i know they're joking around, but can that be true? if your baby moves a lot then they're going to be not bad, but "not so calm"?! lol :) i'm just curious.. thx :)

LOL, no the amount of fetal movements is not an indicator of personality. All it can really tell you is that you have a healthy and vigorous baby.

My first baby, a boy, kicked and moved more than all the others, and yet he is the most serious and quiet and docile of all of my children.

You will almost always notice more movements after a meal and also when you are lying down or very still. Mine always liked to start kicking as I was just drifting off to sleep at night. Haha!

Congrats!

i dont know mine has been the same i'm 39 weeks now and my baby has kicked and moved non stop since 16 weeks. i was worried that there was something wrong as it didnt hardly stop. i think its just their little ways already as some people say how lazy their babies were and that they hardley moved inside them and they tend to be laid back babies. i dont think it'll be naughty just active maybe. However i think what you eat has an effect too. when i'm not pregnant i dont really eat much sweet stuff but since being preggers i've ate loads of chocolate and stuff. think maybe its just on a sugar rush!!

yup usually when you are resting and are sitting still you can feel the baby more, if you are walking around that tends to sooth the baby to sleep, and just because she moves alot doesnt nessacarley mean she is going to be hyper
