I am pro. And think the thought of banning it is insane. How about you, share your views, and be civil.

I am neither pro nor anti abortion.

I am pro choice.

The legal system usually only considers a murdered fetus as a second murder when it is beyond the point where abortion is allowed anyway.

I support birth control, but realize its not always effective.
I support adoption, but if it would really solve all our problems then there wouldnt be so many unadopted kids in the country and world.

Neither of these things change the need for abortions. Proper education can help, but unfortunately the biggest anti-abortion groups also spend millions trying to make sure people arent educated on birth control thus weakening any hope they have of ending abortion, but keeping the debate alive so they can continue to rake in money.

No one is "pro" abortion.

I am Pro Choice and I am NOT "anti" life.

Politics, in this country anyway, has no right to be involved in such a personal decision.

And for once I would love the Anti-Choicers to put their money where their mouths are. Adopt a few kids out of foster care and raise them on their own dimes with no government assistance.

It is really easy to say you are "pro-life" and to want to ban abortions, it is very hard to deal with the realities of the choices you want women to make. Unwanted children grow into abused children which grow into criminals and worse. If you were so "pro-life" you would be opening your homes to these poor mothers and financially supporting their decisions and their children.

And it cracks me up that those that are so anti-abortion are usually the same ones that wanted sex ed and condoms removed from our schools. Just say no didn't work for alcohol, doesn't work a lick for drugs and won't work for unwanted pregnancies.

The government, and the self-righteous, need to get out of the business of limiting personal choice and back to the business of working hard to make our country better.

Prohibition didn't work in the 30s and doesn't work now. Get real.

I am against abortion. Adoption, in my not so humble opinion, is always a better option. I am, however, for adults being responcible and using birth control methods.
Abortion should be reserved for when the baby has incurable medical concerns that will prevent it from living life in a normal way, once all options are considered, when doctor and mother and father agree that this is the ONLY resonable option.
An innocent child should not be murdered simply because it has inconvenient timing, or because the mom will lose her girlish figure, or because the father doesnt want to deal with a baby.
All babies are blessings and should be treated as such.

I am neither pro or anti abortion.

I am in favour of the woman in question being able to make a decision about any pregnancy based on her own circumstances and beliefs, and choosing the people she feels are best able to assist her to make the decision that is best for her own situation.

Cheers :-)

The fact is, life begins in the womb. The fact that if a killer murders a pregnant woman, they get charged with 2 murders is proof that our legal system agrees with that premise.

I am pro life and against the murder of innocent babies for the profit of Leftist big business.

Rape? Incest? Mothers life in danger? I cannot pretend to fathom the feelings of having to deal with any of these, that’s a jury I could not sit on.

It is nobody's business in a Democracy, how another woman takes care of her body.

Under communism and fascism the government owns those women's bodies and the government takes control, but is not legal under Democracy.

Can't people just mind their own business instead of worrying about how other women are managing their lives?

I am pro-choice mostly because until the child is born it is part of the mother and she has a right to do what ever she wants with her body. People try and throw around oh they have a choice because they choose to have sex. Well tell that to a rape victim.
