They both are good for the band in their own way...Bon Scott had to get the band on the map and only he could sing songs like Jailbreak,Highway to Hell,Sin City etc.I don't think they would have become as big as they are if he was singing what they do now.Brian Johnson's singing helped put them on the bigger map when "Back in Black" came out.
My favorite song sung by Bon Scott is Whole Lotta Rosie and my favorite one from Brian Johnson is Shoot to Thrill.Plain and simple...AC/DC is AC/DC because of both singers and will remain my favorite band for all time!!

Although I truly enjoy AC/DC's music, I've found that I can't listen to it for long BECAUSE of the vocals. Okay, a couple of songs I can handle, but that "singing" is just too grating - but at least Bon originated it - the new guy is just imitating him. Now if AC/DC would put out an album with NO vocals, or at least one with a vocalist that doesn't sound like fingernails on a chalkboard, I'd buy it in a second. Angus is a very good guitarist.

Bon Scott - I was lucky enough to have seen one of their really early shows before they made the big time - at a pub in Hammersmith - real entertainer and nice bloke - sad loss.

Although I'm to young to have seen him live, Bon Scott.
but I thought Brian put on a heck of a show when I saw them on the Stiff Upper Lip Tour.

Brian is good (though I do think his voice has been deteriorating badly in the last 10 years).
But Bon had this devilish quality, sound & delivery that Brian could never touch.
